In our "Meet a Frankie" series we dive deeper into the stories of the people who make it all happen here at FrankieOne. This time we have Ivonne, Manager (Portfolio) Customer Success from our Melbourne office sharing her story. Ivonne leads a global team of Customer Success Specialists and is of great importance to provide the best support to our customers.
Let's dive in..
What was your dream job when you were growing up?
To be a boss 😁
Tell us about your career journey to date and what led you to FrankieOne.
I've been in and out of customer management roles for almost 20 years, starting with traditional advertising and then moving into digital advertising. This transition eventually led me to work closely with digital products and tech teams, which made the move to FrankieOne feel almost natural.
At FrankieOne, as the Manager of Customer Success, I liaise with customers daily, provide product solutions, and manage a team dedicated to helping our customers achieve their goals. In short: our team ensures our customers receive the very best experience on every level!
What led you to a role in Customer Success?
I enjoy meeting people, I'm always curious to learn something new, and I love working towards solving problems. These qualities pretty much sum up what I do in Customer Success.
What do you love about working at FrankieOne?
The people. I love the supportive atmosphere and teamwork here. It's a place where everyone is willing to lend a hand, which has really allowed me to thrive. Whether I have questions, issues, or just need guidance, I always find someone ready to assist me.
What has been your proudest moment so far at FrankieOne?
Being recognised by my peers and voted as the winner for Delivery value during FrankieFest. I feel very grateful to be part of the FrankieOne team, which has helped sharpen my skills and deepen my knowledge in the industry. This, in turn, enables me to give back through quality delivery for both our customers and our product.
What are some of your favourite things to do outside of work?
Traveling, walking my dog, and spending too much time on Instagram..
What’s a fun fact that you think people should know?
I'm a generalist pop-culture enthusiast, always up to experience, see, and do the latest trends—for example, getting a dog during the lockdown period.
Do you have any advice for people looking to work at a startup?
Prepare for uncertainty, constant changes, and be ready to think outside the box to solve problems. You'll find it particularly rewarding because you're close to both the action and the decision-makers, allowing you to have a direct influence and see the results of your efforts more quickly. There’s also the advantage of flexibility and growth opportunities. I got my promotion because I identified a gap I could fill, and the managers were very supportive of my initiative.
