Join FrankieOne as an Associate Accountant (12 month fixed-term contract) and become a pivotal force driving our success! We're on the lookout for an experienced professional to spearhead the expansion of our finance and accounting functions as we continue to grow.

The role

As an Associate Accountant at FrankieOne, you'll work closely with the Finance Manager and CFO, playing a vital role in the day-to-day financial accounting and reporting tasks. Your responsibilities will extend to collaborating with key stakeholders across the business, ensuring seamless financial operations.

What your day could look like:

• Ownership of accounts payable, employee and contractor payroll, expense reimbursements and bank reconciliations
• Facilitate month-end processing and ledger closure
• Prepare monthly management and annual statutory reports
• Assisting in the preparation of financial reporting for Board papers
• Contribute to budgeting, forecasting and cash flow reporting
• Aid in financial statement preparation and our year-end audit processes
• Support R&D rebate submissions
• Assist with ad hoc projects and other finance-related functions as needed (e.g. working closely with the Sales and product teams).

In a previous life you have:

• 1+ years of relevant accounting / book keeping experience. Experience in a SaaS organisation a plus
• Accounting qualification, working toward a CPA or CA qualification
• Proven ability to manage competing priorities independently in a dynamic setting.
• Confident communication skills with key stakeholders.
• Strong Commercial Acumen.
• Proficiency in MS Office and Google Suite
• Experience using Xero day-to-day
• Detail-oriented with excellent time management abilities.
• Passion for automation and technology.

The Team

You will be reporting to the Finance Manager and will be working closely day-to-day with FrankieOne’s CFO.
